Having studied and worked in the interiors/architecture industry for a number of years, I have an incredible appreciation for art history. Any chance I get, whether traveling or locally, historic architectural tours are my absolute favorite activity. Sadly, I never made it to visit the Notre Dame Cathedral despite having been to Paris twice!
Really enjoyed reading this article of an American art professor who used laser technology to create a map of the architectural detail inside the cathedral. This can serve as a valuable tool in the restoration process.
